In English, “Miyabi [雅]” translates as “Elegance”, reflecting a carefully crafted rural escape that offers a level of comfort comparable to an upscale hotel, but with a genuine personal touch. Miyabi Guesthouse is unlike anything you have experienced before, but feels just like home. That is, well, because it is our home.
Our meticulously renovated Kura, a traditional Japanese warehouse, seamlessly blends ultra-modern comfort with authentic Japanese architecture. Every detail, from the high-quality furnishings to the serene surroundings, is designed to relax and rejuvenate. MIYABI Guesthouse offers an unparalleled opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty of Japan, surrounded by majestic mountains, verdant rice fields, and the majestic Tedori River.
Unique Accommodations
Our custom-designed guesthouse is idea for 2-4 guests, however can comfortably accommodate up to a maximum of five.

• A bespoke irori-style dining table custom-crafted from a single piece of paddock wood.
• Premium sleeping arrangements, including a premium quality France Bed brand double-wide size mattress (sleeps two), or luxurious Nishikawa brand Japanese style futons (Singles x 3).
• A fully-equipped kitchen with high-quality appliances, IH range, and cookware.
• Air-conditioning + Heating on both floors for year-round comfort no matter the weather, plus a cozy Heta wood-burning stove [Denmark] for the coldest of winter days

• Washing machine and dryer combo for all your laundry needs.
• Take a break at one of the many local onsen (hot springs) – our favorite is only a 3-minute drive away.
